Jacob Malatesta Provides CLM Webinar

Our own Jacob Malatesta recently provided a webinar for CLM, along with Metro Claims Management’s Dwight Geddess, that attracted more than 400 attendees! The webinar, entitled “Social Media Investigations for Claims Personnel and Attorneys,” explored how to use social media in obtaining evidence, as well as how to expedite the process by drafting discovery requests that comply with recent rule changes and avoiding subpoenas that social media companies can lawfully ignore. CLM’s monthly magazine featured a few key takeaways from the webinar, including this quote from Jacob:

“Social media provides us with facts that we would not normally get in typical litigation circumstances. I like to say fish swim; birds fly; and people have an indomitable instinct to put the intimate details of their lives online.”
