Mary Margaret Kuhlmann

Mary Margaret Kuhlmann is shareholder in the firm’s Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Healthcare Team, practicing from the firm’s Gulfport office. She has successfully defended healthcare providers in the area of malpractice and represented medical device and product manufacturers for more than 20 years. 

Additionally, Ms. Kuhlmann has extensive experience defending physicians in complex medical malpractice litigation, in advising physicians and hospitals on medical staff related issues, including credentialing and privileges, amendments to Medical Staff Bylaws and Hospital Rules and Regulations, policies and procedures, physician/administration disputes, corrective action issues and due process hearings, quality control, peer review, and hospital premises liability.

Ms. Kuhlmann also has experience with physician contracting, representation of healthcare professionals before the Miss. Board of Medical Licensure and Miss. Board of Nursing, HIPAA and other privacy issues, compliance and regulatory issues, and physician clinic staff training in areas such as HIPAA and receipt of and response to subpoenas.
